If you enjoy exploring ‘off the beaten track' there are pretty little
villages to explore and colourful folklore to learn. The wine-making
village of Kathikas can be reached along the quiet back road and so can
the twin villages of Pano and Kato Akourdhalia – the latter with a
little folk museum whose key holder can usually be found playing tavli
(backgammon) in the village coffee shop._________________________________________________

village is for those wanting to experience the charm and seclusion of a
traditional rural village which is perfect for long walks and for those
who love nature and bird watching. The aroma of the surrounding pine
and lemon groves, brought in by the cool valley breeze, provides relief
from the hot Cypriot sun. A coffee shop is the centre of village life
here. The beaches of Polis and Latchi are just 13km away.
