If you're a keen amateur dramatist wanting to hone your skills and learn new ones all in the company of like minded people and on the stunning island of Paxos then we think we have the perfect solution and a wonderful holiday.
On the 22nd September we're offering a week long drama work shop consisting of five half day sessions conducted by professional actor/director Mike Sherman.
Concentrating on 'actioning the text' , a technique favoured by the likes of Max Stafford Clark and Marianne Elliot of The National, participants will learn the techniques used to create character and unlock the text, culminating in an end of week show case.
Course Tutor - Mike Sherman
 Mike Sherman is an actor, writer and director with over 25 years of experience. He trained at The Welsh College of Music and Drama before working extensively in theatre and television. He has appeared in The West End, The National Theatre and numerous Rep. and Touring Companies. His television credits range from various sit coms including Kiss Me Kate, Coupling, The Upper Hand, The Robinsons, The Brittas Empire, When We Are Married and Heartburn Hotel to dramas such as The Bill, Touching Evil, Rosemary and Thyme, London Bridge and Filth - The Mary Whitehouse Story.
As a director he was a co founder of Forest Forge Theatre Company and has also directed shows for The Liverpool Everyman, several No.1 Tours and run workshops for, among others, The National Theatre and several of the country's leading drama schools.
 Based in the delightful village of Loggos, we have a wide range of accommodation available from simple apartments to luxury villas with private pools. The course itself is an optional add on so if members of your party prefer to relax on the beach they can do so. The holiday is also ideal for singles as you'll soon make friends on the course and we can offer low cost apartments for one or you can share accommodation with other single travellers on the course.
Prices
The cost of the weeks theatre workshop is £125 per person and places are limited to a maximum of twenty.
