This beautiful, lush green Greek island comes as an unexpected and unforgettable surprise for first time visitors. Avoiding the busier south, Spirit of Greece offer hand-picked properties in or near the picture postcard villages of San Stephanos and Nissaki in the beautiful north-east. Corfu mapNot only is this part of Corfu one of the prettiest and traditional parts of Greece you will find but it is also one of the easiest to get to.

There are many flights to Corfu from a wide range of regional UK airports on practically every day of the week and once you land, it's only a forty five minute drive to the region.

And here's another great attraction - as long as you stay a minimum of four days, all our Corfu properties can be rented for any duration with any arrival day. This means you can take advantage of the best flights and are not restricted to the traditional one or two week break - you could even pop over for a long weekend.

San Stephanos, CorfuSan Stephanos really is one of the most attractive places on the upmarket north-east coast of Corfu. This picturesque fishing village has a charming, traditional feel to it but offers a choice of shops, some excellent tavernas and a couple of quite sophisticated bars for those looking for some nightlife. Agios Stephanos has its own small beach with wooden jetties which are ideal for sunbathing or fishing and you can rent a boat here if you fancy touring the pretty bays that run up and down the coastline. The blue flag beaches at Kerasia is only a twenty minute walk away through some lovely countryside, and the stunning Avlaki beach which has two tavernas and a sailing school for windsurfers and dinghy sailing is a 5 minute drive away. San Stephanos has a lot to offer and it is little wonder that visitors choose to return to this spot time and time again.

Nissaki Bay, Corfu Nissaki. Between the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean and the dramatic backdrop of the slopes of Mount Pandokrator sits the small hamlet of Nissaki. This lovely village has managed to escape any large scale tourist development and, as such, enjoys an unhurried pace of life and a truly relaxed atmosphere.

Nissaki Bay has three picturesque coves each sheltering its own pebble beach, clear blue waters and one with a tiny anchorage backed by a couple of fine tavernas. The area is a favourite destination amongst experienced and discerning travellers to Corfu.

As well as the handful of bars, tavernas and shops to be found in the area, Nissaki is a great location for exploring this beautiful part of the island and pretty spots such as Kouloura Bay, Agni, St Stephanos and Avlaki are all within a short drive. The beautiful and historic Corfu Town is also an easy drive making this an ideal choice for anyone wanting a little of everything from their holiday.
