"Have just returned from a week in Demetra. We stayed in Artemis in 2008 and were in raptures with villa and location then. Demetra has the slight edge as you can see further round the bay ....in fact the position is perfect. The weather was beautiful and the spring flowers on island were amazing. Driving around with the car windows open was a bouquet of delights. The villa superb but I do not think we used the comfy sofas or television as time was spent outside. Evenings were warm enough to eat on the patio watching the lit up boats and shooting stars. During the day we even saw dolphins in Lourdas Bay plus red kites flying overhead and the swallows darting and diving above us in the clear blue skies. We caught the ferry Angela from Pessada to Zante and had a full day on the island. A trip worth doing. We requested a coffee maker and a whisk to the cleaner and within an hour she was back with superb coffee maker in arms. So am sure if there is something missing it will be dealt with. A truly wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back very soon. Many thanks Tim"

All the villas are two-storey with sitting room, one double bedroom on the ground floor and two twin bedrooms on the upper. The two twin bedrooms both have ensuite bathrooms and sea view balconies. There is an additional bathroom on the ground floor opposite the bedroom. _____________

Each has a private freshwater swimming pool surrounded by grassed lawns, a purpose built barbecue and dining area. All the villas now have a tiled canopy providing a lovely shaded area to lie on your sunbed. _______________________

The villas are modern, furnished to a high standard and well equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV (English channels are very limited), DVD and CD. The kitchen includes an oven with 4-ring hob, fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, washing machine and mosquito machines. ____________________ 

The ground floor consists of an open-plan sitting room and kitchen with three sets of patio doors leading to a covered sea-facing terrace. A double bedroom and bathroom are also on the ground floor. ___________

The little village of Spartia is a five minute drive or thirty five minute walk away where there are a few shops, tavernas and a beautiful sandy beach a short distance from the village. The south coast resorts of Lourdas and Trapezaki are nearby and worth visiting whilst if you fancy tripping the light fantastic, the bright lights of Argostoli, the island capital, are just twenty minutes drive away.

Half a mile from the villas is Liakas Horio, a small group of holiday houses with a pool, bar and tennis court which our villa guests are welcome to use.
