We've also made Pelion much more accessible with our unique sea taxi transfers from Skiathos to Katigiorgis which really does make the transfer a pleasure rather than a chore. Alternatively, you can fly to Volos or Thessalonika and drive (3 hrs from Theassalonika, 1hr from Volos).
